Rotary District Governor Peter Signal presents the official Rotary International Charter Certificate for the Interact Club of Fraser High to Charter President Jonathon Lee

Fraser High Interact Club

I'm Jonathon Lee, the Charter President of Fraser High School's Interact Club. I'm only 15, and already have big ambitions for the future. I was born and still live in Hamilton. I attended Nawton Primary, Maeroa Intermediate, and now Fraser High.

I have taken up a lot of leadership roles throughout life and Interact was no exception. As soon as my teacher told me she wanted to start up an Interact club at Fraser I was eager to join. All the attributes of Interact appealed to me. To help the community, give back to society and give Fraser that good impression it deserves. So far, I have loved being a member of Interact and a part of the larger Rotary family. It has inspired me to do great things.

Recently, I was fortunate enough to attend a Rotary conference. I met many inspiring and influential people. They have really opened my eyes, to what I have the potential to do; not just now, but also in the future too. One thing that sticks to me particularly from the conference is in life, listen and talk to a diverse range of people from different ages, genders, occupations and experience levels. Rather than just the obvious ones. As each and everyone of them have a unique opinion, and can always tell you something different to that of the person before them.
